Our Story

Casa Nonna is a celebration of the food, traditions, and people that bring us together around the table.

Inspired by James Beard-nominated Chef Antimo DiMeo’s Italian Nonnas, Maria and Italia, Casa Nonna is rooted in the recipes and flavors Antimo grew up with, while honoring the generations of Nonnas whose cooking helped shape what we know and love as Italian-American cuisine.

The menu brings those traditions to life through pasta, pizza, antipasti, and familiar Italian-American favorites, balancing the comfort of the classics with DiMeo’s own creative approach. At its heart, Casa Nonna is about the way Italian food has always been meant to be enjoyed: gathered around the table, sharing good food with good company.

Located in the heart of downtown Wilmington, Casa Nonna welcomes guests for weekday lunch, happy hour, dinner, private celebrations, and everything in between.
